encryption during SQL transactional replication

During the replication , when data is getting transferred from the publisher to the subscribers, is the data encrypted? Thanks in Advance,

Hi Fulya, no the data is not encrypted be default. If you wanted it to be encrypted then you’d need to set up IPSec rules on both source and destination to force the encryption at a lower level Cheers
