Error while setting up publisher

Hi..
One more error prompt by windows during setting up the Publisher.
Error 20028 The Distributor has not been installed correctly. Could not enable database for publishing. The replication option ‘publish’ of database ‘test’ has been set to false. I did exec sp_helpserver n checked for the ID=1 and run the sp above to register the server again but still giving me the same error..pls help sp_dropserver "servername", droplogins

sp_addserver ‘servername’, local

Always check the server name on all servers involved in replication before replication configuration to avoid this kind of issues…
