4 node clustering active/passive
I was supposed to configure 4 node active/passive clustering. Can some one guide me in this…!By this, I assume you mean that you will have four nodes in your cluster running three active instances of SQL Server, with the fourth node devoted to failover? This is the ideal option, although you have other choices. What you are asking for is very complex and really can’t be given in the forum. You must first decide on your design of the cluster and how it will be used, design and select the hardware, install the hardware and software (the OS), install Windows Clustering, install SQL Server Clustering, and test, test, and test. Because this is such a large subject, can you perhaps ask more specific questions that can be more easily answered? —————————–
