64 bit upgrade

Does anyone have experience taking a 32 bit cluster and upgrading it to 64 bit? I would like to just upgrade the OS to 64 bit without reformatting and installing from scratch. In the past when I have upgraded a machine’s OS, it hasnt’ worked all that well. My cluster has 3 nodes and runs Windows 2003 enterprise. I have the Intel 32/64 bit chips. I would need to upgrade the OS to 64 bit, then upgrade SQL to 64 bit correct? Any info or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
Chad did you have much success upgrading from the 32 bit cluster to 64? I am looking at performing a similar activity on a 2-node cluster and would really prefer not starting from scratch… This is SQL 2005 on Win 2003 OS. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Sean
