_bstr_t data type length problem in ADO

Did anyone have problem with this type of data type?
It is reported that when the system is heavily loaded
and sqlserver is running like crazy, _bstr_t (returned
from ADO RecordSet) max it to 500 characters.

Sorry that It was definitely my fault by
placing this on the dba forum. It should be
a developer issue. I was waiting for someone
to move it over to the dev forum but a few
hrs after there was no action, so I took the
liberty and placed this here.
