Across database Constraint

Hi all,
Is it possible to create foreign key constraint across database?
If pubs database having authors table, will i create the references from nortwind. can u pls help me out for this situation?

No, I don’t know who’s behind it. I found the link by chance on the MS newsgroups & thought the original poster might find it useful.

I suspect it uses triggers, the FAQ on the website is a bit evasive in the "how does it work?" question.
Not sure you such triggers must be "instead of" – "for" will work just fine.
I had same requirment I used triggers for that —————————————-
