Affinity In Sql Server

Hello,
We have been doing some testing to see if a particular app needs 4-way or 2-way cpu.
We got a 4-way machine with HT but we only set 2 cpu’s with HT to be used by sql server.
should i be unchecking use all available processesors and check the other one. thx

If you have processor licensing, with SQL Server you have to pay for ALL physical processors on the server even if you’re not using them.
