Any known performance issues with Pivot?

SQL 2005 introduced PIVOT for cross tab reports.
Are there any known performance issues of using the PIVOT keyword?
Or is it better to do the cross tab formatting in the UI instead of SQL? Thanks and Regards,

If UI supports Cross tab then do it there
But anyway you need to compare the time taken at server and client sides Madhivanan Failing to plan is Planning to fail
