backup and remote restore

Hi,
I am looking for a solution to my problem. I have two servers, a production server and a drp server. Every day I must create a backup for bd1 on the prod server and to restore the bd1 on the drp server.
For a good synchronisation I want to create only one job, with 2 steps, on the prod server. Is it possible and how can I do? Anybody can help me? Thanks in advance.

Joanne, see if my answer on www.sqlteam.com helps. [<img src=’/community/emoticons/emotion-1.gif’ alt=’:)‘ />]<br /><br />MeanOldDBA<br />[email protected]<br /><br />When life gives you a lemon, fire the DBA.
Why not take help of log shipping in this case, it works as warm standby server in case of any disaster issues. Satya SKJ
