Backup Error in SQL 2000

I am getting error in backing up log from SQL EM 2K.
error : "
BlkHeader from strip 0 At 38a68400 ExpectedAt 38a68400 Size f000 PrevSize 1c00 How can i solve it and why did this happen??

Have you received this more than once? Did you get any errors in the system or application log? MeanOldDBA

Ensure the drive used to stored these log backups has required permission entries to allow SQL server service account, for instance if I: is a network mapped drive, use the UNC share name. Make sure the SQL service account can access files on that share.
