Backup failure


The nightly backup and restore job of the RCTS database to RCTSRpt database failed last night.
The job name is: RCTSRpt_nightly_restore
Error message is as follows:
Executed as user: NT AUTHORITYSYSTEM. The medium on device ‘rcts_reporting’ expires on Aug 19 2005 4:10:01:000AM and cannot be overwritten. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 4030) BACKUP DATABASE is terminating abnormally. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 3013). The step failed. anyone have any idea why this happend. can anyone provide a quick reply. I am just on to machine to investigate.any help would be helpful
I think when media device was created, there is dead time.
Review all job properties.

Quick solution: Put in a new tape. (This will force a new media creation in most back up management software)
