Backup & Restore SQL DESKTOP ENGINE

Hi, I’ve a Mcafee Application using MSDE as backend, when i tried a restore of a backup , the service unexpectedly stops. and from there each time i launch a backup it generates the following error. event id: 6013
Sqlliberror: Oledb encountered calling IDBinitialize::initialize.hr …. SQL Server doesnot exist…. I’ve my Sql Server , its running fine. Can someone help

What is the service pack on MSDE and on operating system?
If you’re using any anti-virus application then exclude SQL based directories for a scan. Satya SKJ

Hi Hemant, you right, i also do have antivirus installed on other servers with MSDE and no problem at all. But i dont know what causes this problem.
In fact i have Windows 2003 and i installed SP1 for windows 2003. And i guess that, not sure, from there i start having this problem.
It started with a restore that i wanted to do which does not work. And then i tried a backup Schedule+manually, not work. Generate Error Messge, The Nt backup just close witrh the above error AKTHAR DILMOHAMUD

I then had to reapply my SP3 to the MSDE and then restart my Server and then the Backup worked. Dont really know what happened!!!!
