Can I change the datasource for a Report model I h

I have created a report model (.smdl) on SQL server 2005 datasource. now i want to change the datasource to sql server 2000. The database structure in SQL server 2005 and SQL server 2000 are the same .After changing the datasource in the Report Manager I get an error while i try to run the report in the report builder. The details of the error is as follows: Semantic query execution failed. Invalid object name ‘DBO.ADDRESSTABLEWITHUSERIDS’.
