Can someone recommend me some books?


Hi there everyone, I hope that you are al well. I am a Oracle 8i/9i DBA and want to learn more about sql server. Can some one recommend some books on sql server that would be ideal for a beginner? Many Thanks Ed

If you’re after the internals of SQL Server, there definitely only one book to recommend and that’s Kalen Delaney’s. There is also one on internals by Ken Henderson which is looking promising, but I haven’t bought it yet. For a quick overview on differences this might be interesting:
