cannot start performance logs and alert service

Hi !
I would like to monitor SQl server from my computer. I am in the group of local administrator and under my acount try to start
performance logs and alerts service.
For some reason it not starting saing (in the event log)logon failure.
I typed my password and 1000 times checked CAPS don’t understand what is wrong
can someone help?

Check the startup account of this service (Right click on the service and click on the tab Log On). This should be an account that is having access to the SQL Server, preferably under the local administrators group on the server.
