Cant configure service account from EM

Hi , I have regisetered a new server to my EM , using SA account.I could do all admistration activies through this .
But when i checked service accounts(service startup account setting) , its in disabled state.i cant check that from EM.is tehre any special reason for that ? Thanks – rajiv
Hi,
Open SQL Service Manager , and then change the server name to yr newly registered SERVER , then you will find the list of services of that new server and from their u can start/stop/pause it and could set it to "Auto Start".

I think you are not clear with my Q . My SQLserer is in remote location, which I registered from my local machine with ‘SA’ account .
Your account is not a part of local administrators group on that SQL server.
Try with that account or the account used to start SQL Server services. Satya SKJ
