Changing the SQL Server instance name

Hi all, I have SQL Server 2005 installed on my PC, When I installed it, i was having SQL 2000 , so the instance name for 2005 was given as Comp50. Cuttently I am creating packages, and these packages are to be send to the client and the client machine SQL 2005 doesnot have instance, its by default (local). I Want to chenge the name comp40 to (local) Can any one tell me how i can do that? Warm Regards!
