Clarification on data mining structure wizard

We are using SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services (SSAS). We are facing a lot of problems while creating "Mining Structure". 1. We are getting deployment error while process the mining structure, if we add nested table to the existing table(s) "On the Specify Mining Model Column Usage page"? Why this is happening so? 2. What is Content and Data Type? And, what is the difference between Content and Data Type? 3. What is Hierarchies in Slice Source Cube page? 4. What is Operators in Slice Source Cube page? 5. What is Filter in Slice Source Cube page? 6. When we are creating a mining structure on "Completing the Wizard page", if we check on
the allow drill through check box, what it does and what are the results we expect from
this. 7. Where can we find Algorithm Parameter wizard? Please clear the above problems ASAP. Thanks,
Srinvas

Hi Satya, Thanks for your reply. Can you please provide how to predict based on historical data using SSAS 2005? We are getting some results, but, we are unable to find, those results are correct or not. So, please provide some documentation or else any sample dumped application. Basically, we are failing in Mining Structure and Mining Model Prediction tab. Awaiting for your valuable reply. Thanks,

I believe you need to take help of data mining books in order to obtain such granular level information, as there is limited on the web. Look for Kimball books andhttp://sqlserver-qa.net/blogs/el/ar…ql-server-2005-analysis-services-mdx-etc.aspx fyi. Satya SKJ
