Client Install

Hello!
I’m having an issue with one of my client installs. I have installed the query analyzer and the enterprise manager on the machine. After the install, when I try to go to the query analyzer, I get the following message: Ordinal 29 could not be located in the dll odbcbcp.dll. Has anyone seen this before? I’m assuming there is a mismatch of dll somewhere. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks
Rinu
What version of MDAC is on the box? You might have a corrupted, missng or outdated DLL. You can upgrade MDAC to the latest version.

I suggest to uninstall all SQL tools and install again. Luis Martin

I believe the problem is with ODBC DLL which is out of date and this can be fixed using MDAC replacement. Try using that MDAC component checker tool to uninstall as much as you can, and then reinstall v2.8 as specified in this KBAhttp://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;232060 listed.
