How do we install SQL 7.0 client utilities on a workstation?

If you’re installing the client on NT4 workstation, the installer will detect the OS and only allow you to install the client pieces. On W2K PRO machine, you may have to select the "client" radio button during the installation. HTH

From the installation CD it automatically detects the O/S using, if its workstation then it will prompt that ‘only client utilites can be installed’, otherwise can choose the server edition. HTH Satya SKJ
