Cluster Administrator Not Opening

Hi, I am new to clustering concepts, so bear with me for my silly questions. I did something like ‘initiate failure#%92 yesterday on my cluster administrator after which my cluster admin is not opening at all. The error is: The Cluster Service On Node ‘ #%92 Cannot Be Started. The Network Path Was Not Found. Error ID: -2147024843 (80070035) I tried to search in the internet; I haven#%92t got the exact solution for this in the internet. Thanks,
Bala
Check Event viewer and cluster log for more information why the cluster service hasn’t come up.
Network path not found, may be rights issue too for the cluster & SQL services account.

I think you need to uninstall and reinstall. I am guessing that during your setup, you may have told clustering to go to a non-existant drive, or perhaps the drive exists, but is not available for some reason, such as a failure, etc. ——————————–

I have reconfigured the sql cluster service and then i added the nodes, after that I reinstalled the sql server. Now my cluster administrator is working but not my sql server. When i examined i found the sql server & agent service are not running. When I tried to start the service, it starts and stops immd. Below are the errors in Event Viewer: First Event Viewer Error:
Could not find any IP address that is sql server instance depends upon. Make Sure that the cluster service is running, that the dependency
relationship between sql server and network name resources is correct, and that the IP addresses on which this sql server
instance depends are available. Second Event Viewer Error:
SQL Server could not spawn FRunCM thread. Check the SQL Server error log and the Windows event logs for information
about possible related problems. Please advice.
This is due to protocols are not enabled by default for SQL Server communication,http://blogs.msdn.com/sql_protocols/archive/2006/01/10/511330.aspx fyi.
Check what kind of protocols are enabled using SAC tool. Satya SKJ

If your clusterAdmin program only not working or not opening…
Try to use CluAdmin.exe to open it…
I believe it will in Windowscluster folder but not sure…if you don’t find there you can search… MohammedU.
