compare files in ssis?


Can I compare 2 files using ssis?… do anyone have any idea how to handle this. Raga.
Well, i think you need to create your own .net script and then you can achive that the way you want in .net script task in SSIS
Unfortunately, that seems to be the answer for a lot of things if your aren’t doing extract/transform/load activites. I found that, and eventually, we decided to develop the specific integration piece we needed, in Biztalk. Having said that, I think Biztalk was the right tool to use, since we only had 1 SQL target, everything else was application integration,which is what MS say Biztalk is intended for, whereas SSIS is intended for Data Integration. Panic, Chaos, Disorder … my work here is done –unknown
