Connecting MS Access to SQL Server Express 2005

I have a client who is staring at a large Access DB with a very elaborate UI, and wanting to upgrade the back-end DB to SQL Server. I’m familiar with the whole "upsizing" routine for 2000, but there are some new issues with 2005, specifically I have heard that .ADP "projects" are likely to be deprecated. Anyone have any advice? Rebuilding the UI is not an option, unfortunately, so we have to go with linked tables or .ADP.
Try referring tohttp://www.microsoft.com/sql/solutions/ssm/default.mspx &http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/sql/2005/sqlupgrd.mspx links on MS site. Satya SKJ

Thanks Satya, but I had read those articles first before posting here, and did not find anything about this issue. It seems MS documentation is a little late in addressing this.
Try under MS ACCESS newsgroups for further information, have you tried using UPGRADE ADVISOR in this case. Satya SKJ

Upgrade Advisor is for upgrading from SQL Server 2000 to SQL Server 2005, right? This is an access DB (only) not a SQL Server 2000 DB. I will see what I can find in the newsgroups, though. Thank you!
Other way round is to use upsizing wizard and upgrade Access to SQL 2000 and then to 2005 (not an easy/agreeable option). But can come in hand if there is no other proven way. Satya SKJ
