Connecting to ‘servername’
I got a strange problem today.I have 5 instances of sql server registered on my local machine.When I am trying to connect to QA of my second instance of sql server I am unable to connect to it.All other instances are perfect.Neither I m getting any error message.QA keep saying Connecting to ‘servername’.What is this all aboutHave you verified the instance is started?

All the time? From time to time? First time?
I suppose first time so, may be SQL is to beasy to response.

Yes service manager says that the instance is started.showing the arrow sign
Check SQL error log and event viewer for any information or error. Ensure the second instance’s ALIAS is defined properly from client network utility. Satya SKJ
