Consolidation of domains in to Windows Server 2003

we have Primary Domain Controllers,Backup Domain Controllers and Member Servers hosting SQL Server application. Now we are in the process of Consolidating the following objects from Resource Domains to Windows Server 2003 based Active Directory Domain. Now my question is
with respect to sql servers and applications running on sql servers, what are the things i should ensure inorder for a smooth change of cosolidation of different domins in to a single Windows Server 2003 based Active Directory Domain.
please share the experience u encountered in this scenario or what precautions should i take to ensure smooth functioning of my sql server and application hosted on the sql server to run as before Thanks
thiru

This is more of windows question than a SQL server related and you will get better response when posted under WIndows 2003 related forums. http://www.windowsitpro.com/Article/ArticleID/44540/44540.html and search under Microsoft site for further information. Are they changing the name of the domain when they do this migration? Will the servers still show up with the same DOMAINserver name? MeanOldDBA
