Sathya, After creating the linked server, asin SQL 2000, we get a + button to enlarge the linked server and view the tables on the linked server.
But here, I am not seeing that + button
Please help me out
You will find under Management studio open connection against that SQL instance and see under Server Objects –> Linked servers. Satya SKJ

Hi Satya, This is not happening. will there be any issue in the oracle client?
if you are using sql server 2005 RTM version, I think we do not have an option to look for tables in linked server as we used in sql server 2000. But post SP2 we have it.. So, please test it with four part naming from QA and if it works we are good to go..
Thats a good point, confirm the service pack level of SQL2005 in this case. Satya SKJ
