creating exactly same DB
hi I have to create a DB on a "testing machine" exactly same as the production server( to test someapplication before applying it on production server)
what are the steps to do this. thank you

Take full backup from production server and restore on test machine, refer to books online for BACKUP/RESTORE topics for more information. If the both machines can see each other simple task to create DTS package or use COPY DATABASE wizard to copy the database in full. _________
