data uploads

our current data upload is like below: FieldID + Data 201RUZYDGC ^205Ruzyc, Fred^ etc………….. – 201 is the FieldID and the data for this specific upload is RUZYDGC.
Would is be better and more flexible if this was in XML?

Yes, XML would offer some relief. And a tab or comma delimited text file would also just do fine. It all depends on how you are consuming the data on the other end. Why is this format the way it is? Nathan H.O.
