Database Mirroring Limits

I have read that there should not be more that 10 databases in a single instance that are mirrored. Is this a real limitation. If so it criples the database mirroring capibility in my mind. Please give feedback. Thanks, Scott

I don’t think there is any limitation like this from MS… but it depends on your HW… http://download.microsoft.com/downl…1f6d2d220/ProSQLServer2005_Ch15_ForTechEd.pdf

THe best practices is to limit upto 10 databsae in the database mirroring session, as explained it always depends on the configuration of the server.
