Database restore problem.

The 30+gb database, was taking hardly 20-25 minutes to restore. But after formatting and installing the SQL Server again on server, it is throwing error while restoring the database.
Error : "An internal consistency error occurred. Contact Technical Support for assistance. RESTORE DATABASE is Terminating abnormally." http://support.microsoft.com/defaul…port/kb/articles/q268/4/81.asp&NoWebContent=1 I check the above link as well as the given link of ask.adaptec.com but no soulution on this. I search the file DPTDISK.SYS, which is not exists on our server. http://ask.adaptec.com/cgi-bin/adap…W55fiZwX2NhdF9sdmwxPX5hbnl_JnBfcGFnZT0x&p_li= Copy and Paste the above url in IE if is not working.

I checked in the internet. Most of them are saying that this is happening for the third-party tools , is it true with you

We don’t have any third party tool is installed on our server. It is Win 2k Server machin which contain SQL Server 2000, Ms-office and other small small s/w like winzip, winrar etc. etc.
