DB creation on network drive

Hi,
I am having a SQL server running on system ‘X’, can I create a DB on Server X with the MDF and LDF residing on Network device ????
Thanks
Thiyagu
Not possible and you can create a database for read-only purposes that can be distributed by way of removable media, such as CD-ROM. This can be useful for distributing large databases containing history data, such as a database containing detailed sales data for the last year. To create a removable media database, you create the database using the sp_create_removable system stored procedure rather than using SQL Server Enterprise Manager or the CREATE DATABASE statement. _________

I think this is impossible.
If you find the way, please share it. Luis Martin …Thus mathematics may be defined as the subject in which we never know what we are talking about, nor whether what we are saying is true.
Bertrand Russell
As said its not supported for the database files to create.
