You cant directly export it to excel or word, if your company does not have a budget for Viso or Erwin I would just print them out directly from EM database designer.
I believe we have those softwares. I can ask my team lead. What services these softwares provide? Could you explain more?

If you have Visio and Erwin then your database diagraming problems are solved as far as resources. Viso is best for diagramming business processes and flow charts things like that you can also build some nice ERDs and datamodels but you cannot forward engineer with Viso 2002, Erwin is a more robust solution if you plan on making schema changes it allows you to reverse-forward engineer your database and builds On The Fly SQL scripts for you on most RDBMS platforms incuding SQL Server [<img src=’/community/emoticons/emotion-1.gif’ alt=’:)‘ />]. <br />
Get VISIO 2002 which is compatible with SQL Server and you can accomplish the task, as mentioned by Lazy. Satya SKJ

I just found that we have ERwin 3.5.2 in our software library. We also have Visio 2000.[8D] <br /><br /><blockquote id="quote"><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id="quote">quote:<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"><i>Originally posted by Lazy_DBA</i><br /><br />If you have Visio and Erwin then your database diagraming problems are solved as far as resources. I kind of remember that Visio Enterprise can reverse-engineer. I have never tried it myself.
Visio actually does a good job. Although, I would use ERWin hands-down if I had the option. You ought to look into a newer version though. MeanOldDBA
