Deadlocked

Hi– I am running a very complex SP most of the time its fine but some times its fails with the following error: "Transaction (Process ID 12) was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction." Please help me to trace these error and remove them.
