Diff Backups

Hi all,
I have a sipmle recovery module for my db and apllied
2 backups
1)full database backup
2)diff backup after 30 mins between 2 full backups i am taking these 2 backups on 2 diff back up files.
is that write way? or could i take the same on one single file ? thanks ,,in advance Atul A Sathe

THe schedule is perfect and you can overwrite the same file if you have any issues of disk space.
Otherwise for record purpose storing to the date-time files will give you more recovery space. Satya SKJ
