Diskeeper usage

Someone recommended me offline defragmentation of SQL Server drives because he thinks some disk defragging tools do not handle open .mdf and .ldf files well. What is the best usage of Diskeeper? How have you implemented in your environment?

I use diskeeper running one a week, normally on sunday, and work with mdf and ldf files.
Very good tool.
