Downgrade enterprise to standard

Is there any way to downgrade SQL 2K Enterpise to Standard without doing an uninstall/reinstall? Have a couple of Enterprise instances that can run fine in a Standard instance. No sense in paying additional cost for Enterprise license when it’s not needed.

As far I know, no, but wait for others members oppinions.

Not possible in my experience and you’ve to uninstall and re-install SE in order to degrade the edition level. Satya SKJ
