Drive Configuration

Could some of you guys/gals send me a recommended drive configuration for running SQL Server 2000? Here is what I have in mind for a new system we are purchasing. Dual 750Mhz PIII or greater.
1 GB RAM C: Drive – 1 GB for Windows 2000 OS
E: Drive – 1 GB for SQL Server 2000
F: Drive – 9 GB for SQL Server data files
G: Drive – 1 GB for 3rd party application Any thoughts or ideas? Thank you! [8D]

Are these logical or physical drives? Also, how are they configured in regard to RAID? ——————

Yeah RAID details, being its important in performance play. Satya SKJ

Well, we were just told that the application we will be supporting requires dual 2Ghz P4, 2 GB RAM, 3 18GB SCSI hard drives running on RAID 5. Ouch… I need a session with our network engineers. ———-

I think the app needs to be a server all by itself, with SQL Server on its own dedicated server. If this is not possible because of cost, then you will need to size the server bigger than just what the app needs to run. ——————
