Hi ,
Since it seems that you are using WindowsAuthentication on MSDE which supports only Windows Login / Authentication thus wont make you login using "SA" / sql authentication , you need to make it Windows and SQL Authentication , as Dinesh’s post describe the other way to do this using registry :

<a href=’http://www.sql-server-performance.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=9331′ target=’_blank’ title=’http://www.sql-server-performance.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=9331′http://www.sql-server-performance.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=9331

[]
Regards.

Hemantgiri S.
