Export and Print

Hi Everybody, I need to take the value from the table(sqlserver2005)and then export as a file and then print the file in the printer. This process should be work in automatic, like the automatic response of email. Can anyone help for me… with love

you could set up a scheduled task in windows to bcp out the relevant data, and then print the resulting text file. if you want the column headers to show up with the data when you call bcp, see this link: http://www.sql-server-performance.com/bcp.asp or this one: http://weblogs.sqlteam.com/brettk/archive/2005/04/13/4395.aspx www.elsasoft.org

I’m not sure whether using Reporting Services is more managable for printing purose, not sure and welcome any feedback. Satya SKJ
