External storage solution question

We have multiple MSA 50 / MSA 70 units with 2.5 inch drives.
Is there a way to configure them as shared storage between machines, so two node SQL Server Cluster can be set up ?
If not, can the drives themselves be used in another shared storage solution ? I remember reading that this is possible with MSA 30 / MSA 20 and 3.5 inch drives. Thank you.

for some strange reason,
hp has yet to offer cluster capability in the MSA SAS line
there is an mpio option for the SCSI, but i thought it only supported hpux i wonder if hp deliberately dropped cluster capability in the direct attach to push over priced san
