finding out who installed sql server

Hi,<br /><br />Is there a way to find out who (NT username) installed sql server?<br /><br />Tnx[<img src=’/community/emoticons/emotion-5.gif’ alt=’;)‘ />]
May check the SQLstp.log in this case, but never come across the username is recorded there.
Why do you want this anyway?

LOL, then it is something you can control using a change management process and in general SQL doesn’t store such information. May be take a look at security event viewer log over a period of time. Satya SKJ
