Going from OLTP to OLAP

Hello, I’m new to OLAP and Data Mining and I’m reading the book Professional SQL Server Analysis Services 2005 with MDX, the book has explained a lot of new terms and techniques. However, the books is based on the Adventure Works DW database and I’m wondering where can I find a tutorial or some guidance to learn how to build a dataware house database, I mean, whate steps has been taken to pass from the Adventure Works OLTP database to Adventure Works DW? Thanks in advance.
