good VB.net book for SQL Server 2005

I’m looking for some good books for the following area: – .Net 2.0 and above
– Using vb.net 2.0 with SQL Server 2005 The purpose is to rebuild an existing non-.net client-server desktop application using .net 2.0 and above and SQL Server 2005. Basically, everything will be rebuilt from scratch and the business logic need to be customizable. Suggestions in how to approach this project are welcome.
One friend programmer, recommend this one: http://www.amazon.com/Professional-…1348032?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1175278324&sr=1-2 Luis Martin

Luis, Thanks for the link. Will check it. If possible, can you ask your programmer friend whether I need to know xml web services and/or .net remoting? I’m kind of confused about ADO.NET, xml web service, and .net remoting. It seems to me that if I don’t need web access, I just need to learn ADO.NET to communicate with SQL Server 2005.
