How to use Index Tuning Wizard

Dear All,
I am totally new with this index tuning wizard. Wat is the purpose and how to use the index performing tuning? When do we need to use this index tuning wizard?
ITW will give recommentdation to improve performance by introducing indexes and updating statistics. you can use thiw when you feel your queries have low performance.

I believe you are using sql 2005 because you posted in 2005 forum… In sql 2005 ITW changed to DTA (Database Tuning Advisor)
