Hyperthreading and SQL

I would like to know your opinion about the CPU performance related to hyperthreading technologies. How is cache (L2) handled by SQL on hyperthreading and is is best turning it on or off. I currently have a machine with two physical CPU’s (2.8 GHz) and with hyperthreading on that will become 4 CPUs for the OS.

I allow SQL to use all processors, but limit the number of processors to the logical number for max degree parellism Bert
