I can see some files like SQL0000700005.1.gthr
In one of my datafolder I can see some files likee SQL0000700005.1.gthr some hashfiles .I am wondering what are these files and how they came to this folder.Is there is any security hinderance.How these files are generated.What these files go ,is these any kind of log files.
Can I stop these files to grow.The MS search on my db server is stopped.

If the mssearch is stopped then you can drop these files. Satya SKJ

Does dropping these files will cause any serious effect on the corresponding db or the application.
If MSSearch is stopped then you’re not using any fulltext searches, so no issues I believe. Satya SKJ
