Importing MS Access

Warning: Newby here <img src=’/community/emoticons/emotion-1.gif’ alt=’:)‘ /><br /><br />I am trying to import an access database into SQL 2005, but it is painfully slow (as in taking 6 hours). I am running SQL server 2005 on a Dell server under Win 2003.<br />I can run the import on a WinXP PC with SQL 2005 installed and it is fast (1/2 hr) to do the import.<br />Can anyone give me a start as to where to look to fix the prob ?<br /><br />Craig
