Install error
Product: OWC11Error: SQL Server Setup cannot continue because an earlier version of Office Web Components is already installed on this computer. Uninstall Office Web Components, and then run SQL Server Setup again.
Do I need to uninstall office web component? anybogy met this error before? Is there a conflict bewteen these two components? ——————

Hi Bo Xie, Few days ago, I meet this error to.
It seems that SQL installation has a confict with Office Web Components, if you already had instalOECled.
I removed it, install SQL and after that reinstall Office Web Components (this if you really need OWC) Jack Bower

Updates, I unintalled the office components, and then installed successfully. ——————

This happens because the service pack for OFfice components restricts other install for SQL due to the MDAC issues. Satya SKJ
