Kicked off while loging in as "sa"

Hi,<br /><br />Really perplexed what has happened[xx(]……my story in short, I happen to change sa password for one of my SQL servers. And then i logged off the server and logged back again. when i have tried to connect to the server through the sa account with that new password it kicked me out throughing me an error.<br /><br />TITLE: Connect to Server<br />——————————<br /><br />Cannot connect to XXXXXXXX.<br /><br />——————————<br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:<br /><br />A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. (provider: Shared Memory Provider, error: 0 – No process is on the other end of the pipe.) One of the Blogs refers You might specify the server name as FQDN/127.0.0.1/ IP Address and NP was disabled on the server. To resolve this, first way is to replace server name as the machine name or “.” or”(local)” or “<machinename>” and you should be able to connect as long as server listening on Shared Memory; second way is to enable named pipe from sql configuration manager and restart server.
