latest microsoft security updates

Have anyone here applied the latest security updates from microsoft? If so, any problems after installing it? MS04-011 pertains to a remote-code-execution vulnerability in all versions of Windows ranging from NT 4.0 to Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. MS04-012, a cumulative update for Microsoft’s remote procedure call/distributed component object model (RPC/DCOM) technologies, also applies to all versions of Windows ranging from NT 4.0 to Windows XP and Windows Server 2003.

No problem, up to day, in my instalation.

Test them with application & SQL Server on test environment before deploying on the production server.

I have seen a very high bluescreen rate when applying the MS04-011KB835732 patch on cluster nodes with Compaq SecurePath (specifically drivers raidisk.sys and rdfil.sys) and AWE enabled. HP has a new advisory on this as of today, but it is only posted internally at this time.
I believe you would be better to contact H/w vendor about this behaviour and also MS support about this hotfix whether any specific recommendations required on the clusters. HTH Satya SKJ
